Citizens Police Academy

The Conyers Police Department conducts a ten-week, interactive Citizens Police Academy (CPA) in the fall and spring of each year. Classes are limited to 20 participants and there is no cost to participate in the class. CPA participants will learn about the divisions of the Police Department, solve a mock crime scene case and participate in various scenarios with a demonstration firearm and run laser devices on heavily trafficked roadways.
