It has been a distinct privilege to represent the men and women who comprise the Conyers Police Department. This department exists for the sole purpose of “protecting and serving” the community and the citizens of Conyers. This specifically includes reducing the risks and damages of crime while enhancing the quality of life for everyone.

This department is committed to honesty, integrity, justice and compassion. We fully understand the importance of the support and involvement from the community we serve. In our efforts to strive for excellence, the department received international accreditation from the Commission on Accreditation for Law Enforcement Agencies (CALEA) in November 2012. We also received state police certification through the Georgia State Police Certification Program administered by the Georgia Association of Chiefs of Police in January 2012.

The Conyers Police Department pledges its complete support and efforts for a safe and livable community. This will be accomplished with the hard work and dedication of the members of the department along with the help and support of our community.
